Unlike other building toys that just have build and knock-down play, Squaregles are specifically designed so you can play on top of your build, whether it's a mega track or a mysterious castle. No, Squaregles are not waterproof. When it’s time to clean your Squaregles, please do not submerge them in water or place them in the dishwasher. Instead, use a disinfectant wipe or damp cloth to wipe them down.

Squaregles are recommended for ages 4 and up. If you were to ask for an exact range, we might say children between 5 and 10 years old will likely experience the highest engagement.

Warning: Squaregles sets contain small parts and small balls, which are choking hazards. Squaregles are not for children under 3 years old.

Both! Your child’s play with Squaregles can vary day-to-day and evolve with them as they grow physically and develop emotionally. Children can compete with build challenges and play together for teamwork skill-building. Additionally, by empowering children to build their own structures, connected systems (like Rube Goldberg structures), and stories, children creatively explore the type of play that most interests them while developing problem-solving skills and achieving a sense of accomplishment. That’s truly powerful.

Under normal play conditions, Squaregles can be played with over and over again for extended periods of play! We also seen that children pull out their Squaregles for years and years, even 12 year olds love their Squaregles.

To view your order history from a desktop computer, click the My Account icon link in the upper right corner of your screen. If you’re on a mobile device, you’ll find the Login/Create Account link toward the bottom of the navigation pop-out on the left side of your screen.

Once you’ve clicked My Account and signed in, you should see your previous orders and the shipping addresses you’ve saved. You can click each order number to see its details.

To reset your password, simply click the Forgot Your Password? link under the Sign In button. Then keep an eye on your Inbox. We’ll send you an email to reset it right away.

Your orders are shipped from just outside of Chicago, so shipping time will depend on how near or far you are from the windy city. We ship via FedEx or UPS which typically have shipping timeframes of 3-5 days.

For standard 3-5 day shipping on orders under $35, shipping is automatically calculated based on location and box size. Shipping is free for all orders over $35 within the contiguous U.S.

Yes, we’re happy to help you process a return for your squaregles.com purchase with the original receipt!

To return your Squaregles:

Please submit a request through our Returns Portal. Simply follow these steps:

1. Enter your email address in the Returns Portal. Select your Order #, then select "Request Return."
2. Choose the items to return, then select the reason for return from the dropdown menu.
3. Select "Request Return." Once your request is approved, we'll ask you to mail your items back using the free shipping label provided.

Return Policy:
All returns must be made within 30 days of receipt.

We currently are not accepting exchanges at this time. You can place a new order for an item, and separately mail the return.

Your items must be in the condition received and in the original box and/or packaging.

Opened Squaregles sets purchased from www.squaregles.com must include the original packing slip or receipt and can be returned for a refund.

We are unable to issue refunds to gift recipients.

Once you have provided the information needed for the return, we will issue a free return label for you to print and send in your items.

Refunds will be credited to your account within 10 business days from the date the return is received.

Squaregles is designed for diverse play, catering to the developmental stage and interests unique to each child. Is your child more of an artist than a mathematician? Watch as the “math side” of their brain inevitably strengthens while they use Squaregles as an artistic medium. And vice versa… quadrupled! 

Squaregles implicitly requires the application of science, math, design, and technological thinking for building. The paperboard panels incorporate arts and crafts, and storytelling is elevated with Oggs and their gadgets. Beyond that, Squaregles is intended to serve as both the focus of play and the backbone of larger play that includes other toys. Squaregles is truly a way to Build Outside the Box using one’s wits, creativity, and sheer love of play.

If you’re a teacher, Squaregles are a GREAT tool for cause-and-effect and simple machines lessons as well as for team building activities, challenge projects and indoor recess fun. We recommend stocking your classroom with a Mega Set (or two or three) so you have plenty of pieces for awesome structures and for many children to build together. Some things tend to disappear into the depths of desks. We recommend keeping a short stack of More Squares on hand too. 

All Squaregles magnets are Rare Earth Neodymium. Why does the magnet matter? These are the kind of magnets that give you the satisfying “click” of sturdiness and stability. Rare Earth Neodymium magnets are super sturdy yet easy enough that a 5-year-old won’t get frustrated when they want to pull apart the pieces and start over again!

Squaregles are designed in Illinois (We are an American, family-owned company!) and made in Mexico and China.

At Squaregles, each product goes through a quadruple-gated development process before it is deemed ready to play. At each stage of development, products are evaluated based on a specific list of qualifications, putting safety concerns under a microscope multiple times. We’re big overachievers and that extends to our testing methodologies. Prove it? Sure! All Squaregles products conform to the safety regulations of ASTM F963 and exceed U.S. safety regulations.

Great question! We brainstormed precisely one gazillion names (and there were some doozies). Finally, we combined ‘Squares’ with ‘Triangles’ and got Squaregles!

Oggs magically connect with totems on their head, back and feet. What an Ogg can do with a totem really depends on the Ogg, and combining totems can create unique abilities (some may be powers, some...not so much). But the wrong totem on the wrong Ogg? Watch out! We’re still learning how the magic came to be and how it works. But maybe you can help us out with that? Build your Squaregles universe with Oggs, test out their unique ability… *ahem* power *ahem*... and share what you discover!
